Winter warmers

Winter just got a whole lot warmer for those in need thanks to generous donations from the Beaconhills College community.

The Beacon of Hope Winter Appeal collected 420 winter coats, beanies, scarves and gloves for donation to homeless people in the Casey/Cardinia region. And 183 pieces of linen will go to Lachie’s Legacy to help local wildlife shelters.

Clothing will be distributed by The Salvation Army, Follow Bless Collective, Casey North Community and Information Services, Cranbourne Community and Information Services and Vinnies.

Eight boxes of footy boots and sporting gear are ready to go to the children of Milingimbi, a small Indigenous community east of Darwin. The College may extend this successful footy gear drive until Grand Final time.
