Beaconhills College meets the national standards for the delivery of courses to overseas students and follows the Victorian Registrations & Qualifications Authority (VRQA) guidelines for the enrolment of Overseas Students Aged Under 18 Years. 

For more than 30 years, Beaconhills College has hosted hundreds of students from all parts of the world who have benefited from our Academic Program and English language support. It is a chance to enjoy all aspects of Australian life, with our ongoing orientation program offering opportunities to visit the beach and learn about water safety, explore Melbourne CBD, or experience a local AFL (football) game at the MCG.  

International students enjoy the choice of more than 40 subjects offered in VCE (Victorian Certificate of Education). Many exciting extracurricular activities are also available, from music to art, tennis, horse-riding or snowsports.

You will find modern facilities, spacious grounds and teachers who nurture every student to help them achieve their personal best. We pride ourselves on our strong sense of community and inclusiveness towards others. The school was founded on Christian principles and these underpin all of our programs and how we care for our students.

Alongside our international student program for those applying for Subclass 500 Student Visas, Beaconhills College also offers short-term study programs for those on Subclass 600 Visitor Visas. These programs support the pillar of ‘Our Global Community’ in our Learning that Matters framework.

Study Abroad Program

The Beaconhills College Study Abroad Program offers students the opportunity to experience a short-term, full-immersion study program. These programs are available for two to eight weeks. Students are given a ‘buddy’ and, after a one-day orientation, follow their buddy’s timetable and join all the same classes. This program gives students the full Australian education experience and helps create lifelong global connections. Please note Study Abroad is only available to students in Year 5 and above (and to students from Year 3 in Terms 3 and 4 only). In Term 3 (July/August) the minimum program duration is four weeks. Study tours

Study tours are Beaconhills College’s international group offering. Closed classes are designed for your group, including English/Australian culture lessons as well as a variety of specialist classes available at Beaconhills. Beaconhills College’s International Student Ambassadors support this program, providing integration with local students throughout the tour. Excursions can also be included for the full Australian tour experience. Boarding or homestay accommodation is available for students over 13 years old, pending availability.
