For more than 30 years, Beaconhills College has hosted hundreds of students from all parts of the world who have benefited from our Academic Program and English language support. It is a chance to enjoy all aspects of Australian family life – dining together, outings to the beach or visiting our wildlife sanctuaries nearby to see koalas, kangaroos or fairy penguins.
International students enjoy the choice of more than 40 subjects offered in VCE (Victorian Certificate of Education). Many exciting extracurricular activities are also available, from music to art, tennis, horse-riding or snowsports.
You will find modern facilities, spacious grounds and teachers who nurture every student to help them achieve their personal best. We pride ourselves on our strong sense of community and inclusiveness towards others. The school was founded on Christian principles and these underpin all of our programs and how we care for our students.

Study and Stay is for full fee-paying students aged 13+ years who wish to become fully immersed, as a long-term student, in the Australian way of life. Length of stay in Australia is usually from one to six years.
Short term Study Abroad is a medium-term individual study option for students wanting a deeper understanding of life as a Beaconhills student. Lengths of stay usually range from two to eight weeks. If applying for boarding or homestay students must be over 13 years of age.
Study tours are group tours where visiting students gain an immersive Australian experience. Tours are usually between one and three weeks duration.

Boarding
Our boutique boarding house is adjacent to the College – just a five minute walk to the centre of the Pakenham Campus.
The residence is staffed 24 hours by qualified and experienced residential supervisors and mentors. All meals (breakfast, morning/afternoon tea, dinner and supper) are provided as well as a range of weekend and holiday activities. Menus are designed by our College chef, with optional supervised cooking on the weekends

Staff supervise study and provide academic and wellbeing support to students. English conversation is encouraged over meal-times. International students love their boarding house ‘family’!
Homestay
International students can choose short or long-term homestay options, from two to four weeks or longer if needed.
All homestay families live near Beaconhills College or close to transport. For long-term stays, families provide a single, fully furnished room, three meals a day and laundry facilities.
Homestay allows students to learn about Australia in a safe, supportive and friendly environment. It is also a wonderful opportunity for all host family members to learn more about other cultures and languages. Many international students form lasting friendships with host families and stay in contact with them long after returning to their home country.
Homestay hosts must be Australian citizens and hold a current ‘Working With Children’ card. They are selected and approved by the College’s international department.
