The Victorian Government has announced VCE assessment dates ahead of the year’s final exam periods.
The 2021 GAT will now be held for all Year 12 students across Victoria on Thursday 9 September, with extra COVIDSafe conditions in place to keep students and staff safe.
Those students who continue remote learning and have performance and practical assessments that cannot be completed at home, will now be able to undertake these assessments in person at school from 30 August, in groups of no more than 10 students at a time.
The remainder of VCE written and performance exam dates will remain as originally set – to begin on Monday 4 October until Friday 17 November. This will allow results and the ATAR to be released on Thursday 16 December, however these timetables are subject to further public health advice.
The department also reminded students and families that Consideration of Educational Disadvantage will apply to each and every single Year 12 student again this year.
We thank all students and families for your determination and resilience during these current circumstances and wish you all the best with your assessments and exams.
