At Beaconhills College we encourage an inclusive and accepting environment. We recognise that things like bullying and homophobia can have a lasting impact on young individuals. This is why on Tuesday, the Year 9s at Berwick had an enlightening visit from Minus 18.

The workshop aimed to build the students’ understanding of the experiences faced by the LGBTQIA+ community. It also highlighted the importance of inclusiveness and presented many facts about gender identification. Minus 18 works very hard to empower the Australian youth, and like us, hopes that one day our country will be free from discrimination.
