This week, Beaconhills College Berwick Campus represented SEISA in the 2023 Premier Schools Shield tournament following our cricket team’s victory in the Senior Pennant during Term 1.

The competition took place on turf grounds at Royal Park and featured the top school teams in the state including:

• Beaconhills Berwick – SEISA
• Geelong Grammar – APS
• St Bede’s College – ACC
• Ballarat Clarendon College – BAS
• Donvale Christian College – EISM
• Rowville Secondary College – SSV
• Camberwell Grammar School – AGSV
• St. Ignatius College Drysdale – GISSA
• Salesian College Sunbury – SACCSS

During the tournament, Beaconhills secured a victory against Camberwell Grammar in game 1, faced a competitive loss to Geelong Grammar in game 2 and game 3 – scheduled against St Bede’s was unfortunately declared a washout.

Overall, our cricketers upheld the Premier Schools competition to a commendable standard and should be very proud.
