With a blessing, a prayer and unveiling of a plaque, Pakenham Campus’ new Years 7 and 8 Centre was officially opened on Wednesday.

While students are already well-settled into their new building, the event was a chance to thank those who helped bring the bring $13.02m project to fruition. The Federal Government contribution was $650,000.

In his address, Executive Principal Stephen McGinley said “these buildings don’t just happen – they are hard-earned successes because of endless hours of planning and construction”.

Guests enjoyed a tour of the new centre with Middle School student leaders and included Federal Senator for Victoria Lisa Darmanin, State Member for Pakenham Emma Vulin and Bishop Genieve Blackwell, Administrator, Anglican Diocese of Melbourne.
