Yesterday, a group of Year 8 students from both campuses returned home from their nearly two-week Linden Hall program in Fukuoka, Japan.
The chance to experience a new culture and way of life with our Japanese sister schools is an unforgettable opportunity for our students.
As well as practicing their Japanese language skills, the students took part in classes across several year levels, they made traditional teacups in the pottery studio, sat in a tea ceremony, crafted traditional new year’s decorations from straw, visited the famous Dazaifu Shrine and joined in the afternoon ‘clubs’ – basketball, chess and karate.
