Official opening of new centre

Today, in beautiful spring sunshine, we officially opened our new Years 5 and 6 Centre at Pakenham Campus.

While the building is already filled with the energy and enthusiasm of students, the occasion provided an opportunity to recognise the vision, planning and collaboration that brought this learning space to life.

Special guests enjoyed tours of the centre led by our Middle School student leaders, followed by addresses from Executive Principal Stephen McGinley, Member for Eastern Victoria Harriet Shing, and State Member for Pakenham Emma Vulin.

The ceremony concluded with the unveiling of a commemorative plaque and the commissioning and blessing of the building by Bishop Stephen Hale of the Anglican Diocese of Melbourne.

Thanking the Victorian Government for its support, Stephen McGinley said, “Your investment reflects a shared belief in the importance of providing young people with the best opportunities to learn and thrive. By investing in spaces such as these, we are investing in the education and future of our young Australians.”
