Morning tea celebration

VCE graduates, parents and College staff gathered yesterday for a special morning tea to celebrate the strong academic achievements of the Class of 2024.

The event celebrated the hard work of the top 26 students from both campuses who achieved ATARs of 90 and above. Students also received academic honours and academic colours recognising ongoing excellence over the years across a variety of subjects.

The top five students at Berwick Campus were Charlotte Moseley (College Dux), Elena Rocke, Nathane Cockayne, Senuka Dahanayake and Gemma Valastro, with academic honours going to Charlotte, Nathan and Gemma.

At Pakenham, the top five were Myeisha Avenido (Pakenham Dux), Dylan Crossley, Mackenzie Hurren, Tony Ly and Leo Moylan. Academic colours went to Leo.

Berwick Campus Principal Sam Watson praised students for their hard work during their VCE and noted the fact that many students had also achieved “greatness” in non-academic areas of school life.

Pakenham Campus Principal Sarah Rudiger paid tribute to students’ families and teachers, all who were “part of the strong support networks that have helped you achieve these results”.

Whether it’s work, further study or a gap year, we wish all students from the Class of 2024 the very best for their future chosen path.
