The Alumni Breakfast Series returns to Beaconhills College in 2025, featuring inspiring speakers across three events in terms 1, 2, and 3.
Each session, running from 7.45-8.45am and including breakfast, has a unique theme with alumni speakers sharing inspirational stories and career tips for aspiring students.
The first event focuses on performing arts and will take place on Friday 21 March at the Pakenham Campus Year 9 Centre. Speakers include accomplished performer Roxanne Tamlin (Class of 2013) and experienced filmmaker Phil Roberts (Class of 2015). The MC will be Dr. Chris McGillen, Director of Performing Arts.
Roxanne’s credits span stage and screen, including The White Mouse, A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Women of Troy. In 2023, she was a Take the Mic finalist and co-produced Legacy, a short fantasy film with co-speaker Phil Roberts.
For his most recent project, Phil has been working as 1st AD (assistant director) on It’s Showtime, Dan!, a coming-of-age comedy film comedy film set for release this year, about a down-on-his-luck character who just wants to be an actor.
