A taste of the future

Construction is progressing well on the new Food Technology Centre at Pakenham Campus.

This purpose-built 1,400 m² facility will feature two teaching kitchens, a commercial kitchen, two adaptable classrooms that can also serve as dining and function spaces, staff workrooms, meeting areas and modern amenities.

The centre’s covered walkways will connect the building to the nearby Beacon of Hope Community Garden, allowing students to use fresh produce grown on-site in their food studies – strengthening the College’s commitment to sustainability.

The facility will also house the new Beacon of Hope Centre, supporting the College’s Foundation and community service programs.

This architectural animation offers an exciting preview of what’s to come.

The centre is scheduled to open in Term 1, 2026.
