Year 8 student Naveen Sekhon from Berwick Campus won an Encouragement Award in the Casey Creations Youth Arts Competition for his abstract photograph titled ‘The Never-Ending Track’. Naveen was awarded in the Intermediate Photography Years 7–9 category and had his work displayed at a ceremony at Bunjil Place on Thursday night.

“He took on all feedback he was given throughout the process and used it to grow and develop his photography,” said his Visual Arts teacher Rosemary Ash.

“I’m so excited that he has this opportunity to be celebrated for his commitment to learning.”
