Year 11 students visit O.MY

Year 11 students studying Unit 1 Health and Human Development enjoyed a recent ‘paddock to plate’ excursion to Beaconsfield restaurant, O.MY, with owner and former Beaconhills College student, Blayne Bertoncello.

The students visited the O.MY organic produce farm, and then the restaurant, where Blayne got the students to sample food made from seasonal vegetables. Teacher Anne Campbell said the purpose of the excursion was to teach the students about whole, natural foods, and to see nature and nutrition working hand in hand
