After being diagnosed with severe dyslexia last year, Year 3 Berwick Campus student Mia has created a YouTube channel where she reads children’s story books aloud.
Hoping to inspire a passion for reading and persistence in other children with dyslexia, the videos, aimed at 3-7 year-olds, were all created using her own initiative.
“When I was told I had dyslexia I thought I’d never read but I’ve worked really hard on my reading and I’ve developed my confidence and I’ve realised I can do it. I want to inspire other children with dyslexia.”
Keep up the good work Mia!
