Performing Arts at its best

Term 2 has begun and already we are gearing up for the first major performing arts event coming soon to our stage at the Pakenham Campus – The Wizard of Oz.

Tickets are selling fast, so I would encourage everyone to book tickets as soon as possible through our College Shop. I don’t think this show needs much introduction! Our 70 students from Years 5-12 and staff have been working very hard to make this a professional-standard show – with a live orchestra – and I doubt you will be disappointed.

It has been 20 years since the College first performed The Wizard of Oz so it is wonderful to see this musical returning to our stage from 4-6 May.

Also coming up in May is the annual JAM (Just Add Music) festival for our Junior School at Pakenham where students have the opportunity to try out their singing and music performance skills with students from five local schools. And Berwick Campus students will be taking part, along with Pakenham, in the upcoming SEISA Performing Arts Festival which has music, choir and drama performances. A very busy month of May.
