Scholars Showcase their talents
July 2009
Parents, staff and students at Beaconhills College were treated to an evening of performing arts at last night’s Performing Arts Scholars Concert, held at the College’s Village Campus in Berwick.
The evening highlights the extraordinary talent of the College’s scholar students who hold scholarships in Drama, Dance, Instrumental and Voice - there are 31 scholars across the two campuses.
Scholarships are offered to students who show outstanding talent in the performing arts and who will enhance the well-established performing arts programme at the College. Students are encouraged to take on leadership roles and demonstrate a commitment to the programme thereby promoting the variety of opportunities available to all students at Beaconhills.
The Scholars’ Concert is an annual event which provides the scholar students the opportunity to exhibit their skills as a leadership group in one showcase event.
