BookWeek at Beaconhills

Tigers, elephants and giraffes were just a few of the animals who could be found lurking around the Junior School at Beaconhills College as part of Bookweek.

This year’s theme was ‘Book Safari’ for the annual Children’s BookWeek. Students were encouraged to go on safari in search of a good book to read and dress up as their favourite jungle animal or character from a story to do with the jungle.

After taking part in the Safari Parade and singing “We are Going on a Safari”, students took part in a day of jungle activities in cross-age groups.

Everyone including the Wildlife Carers (teachers) had a very exciting Jungle experience!
