 About Beaconhills' International Programme

A world of experience and opportunity

Beaconhills is a vibrant community. We welcome our international students into the life of our school.

Beaconhills has experienced staff to provide support and guidance for the academic program of students in Senior School. These include the Head of Senior School and International Students Coordinator. In addition, students are part of smaller class groups where academic progress is monitored and personal support is available.

Part of the experience of studying in another country is to join in the culture of the new country, as well as sharing your own personal story. This is certainly true at Beaconhills where students are encouraged to follow their interests whether in sport, art or music. The school also conducts an extensive Outdoor Education Program for all students.

English language

The acquisition of English must be the number one priority for all students entering from non-English-speaking countries. Students must be willing to be fully involved in the academic, co-curricular and cultural life of the school. Whilst Beaconhills will provide English language support for our international students, it is critical that all students have a comprehensive grasp of the English language upon application.
