Career Highlights

  • Rob joined the Victoria Police after leaving school from 1988 to 1990.
  • He then attended Rusden College from 1990-93 completing a Bachelor of Education degree.
  • In 1994 he commenced teaching at Eumemmerring Secondary College.
  • In 1995 he completed Bachelor of Special Education at Monash University.
  • By 1997 he had attained the position of Leading Teacher at Eumemmerring Secondary College.
  • In 1998 he completed a Masters of Special Education at Monash University.
  • In 2003 Rob left Eumemmerring Secondary College after having worked in a range of leadership roles including: Year-Level Coordinator, Sub-School Leader, Timetabler, Head of English, Special Needs Co-ordinator and Professional Development Co-ordinator.
  • He moved in 2004 to Lyndhurst Secondary College as the Innovations and Excellence Cluster Leader.
  • From 2005 to the present Rob has worked at the Narre Warren South P-12 College – and as the Assistant Principal since 2008. He is currently responsible for the Senior School – Years 10-12 (approximately 600 students).
  • Rob is also the Chair of the Southern Metropolitan region VCAL Quality Assurance Panel (2007-present)and a member of the SELLEN Board .
  • In 2007 Rob was awarded a VCAA VCAL Achievement Award in the category of Team Teaching, and in 2008 Rob was the recipient of the VCAA Chair’s Award for his achievements in education.
