Career Highlights

  • Emily undertook an Arts / Management degree at Monash University in 2003.
  • She is a candidate for a Masters Degree in Environment and Sustainability at Monash University.
  • She worked at Alinta (Australia’s largest energy company) for three years from 2004 until 2007.
  • In May 2000 Emily turned her attention to environmental issues and has created two sustainability organisations, Future Canvas and Urban Reforestation.
  • Emily is in the process of creating a Sustainable Living Centre for the Docklands, Melbourne, beginning with her Urban Reforestation garden in Docklands.
    She has assisted with the development of the City of Melbourne’s ‘Future Melbourne’ goals.
  • Emily was invited to present a paper at the Sustainable Design Conference as part of the Shanghai 2010 World Expo ‘Better City, Better Life’.
  • She has studied overseas in China and Italy.
  • Emily was given support in 2011 by the Docklands Authority to expand the sustainability garden at Docklands
