Pastoral care is concerned with the emotional, social, physical and spiritual care of every individual student. Each student at the College has the right to feel valued, respected and safe – the college’s comprehensive pastoral care program, ensures that every student develops confidence and feels as though they are an important part of the Beaconhills community.

Pastoral Care is a co-operative initiative throughout the college community, in addition to students and families the program will call on multidisciplinary functions across the College where required and appropriate; Head of Sub-School, Head of House, School Nurse, School Councilor, Careers Councilor and College Chaplin.

Beaconhills College also provides families with a range of seminars and information that help to develop understanding and promote wellbeing. These topics occur regularly and include a variety of subjects such as:

  • Raising Teenagers
  • Cyber bullying
  • Choices for Life
