Before and after school care

Combining work and school drop off and pick up can be a challenge, but our relaxed student-focused program gives working parents flexibility by providing a ‘one stop shop’ for all children at the one location.

Little Beacons Learning Centre offers before and after school care in a purpose built room, with a pleasant outdoor area to explore.

Students have opportunities to develop life skills such as food preparation, organisation and socialisation. There is an opportunity to relax after a busy day at school, do some music practice, complete homework or study quietly.

Our program coordinators have extensive experience and have a minimum of two years’ qualification by an approved provider.

Before School Care is provided from 7.00am to 8.20am. At 8.20am children are signed out of the Centre and a Little Beacons staff member walks them to the College.

After School Care students are met in a dedicated meeting place in the Junior School courtyard by a Little Beacons staff member, then at about 3.25 pm, travel on the walking school bus along Toomuc Valley Road. Care is offered in this program until 6pm.

Vacation care is also available to school-aged students during school holiday periods. An exciting program has been developed in consultation with the students, and includes incursions and excursions. Bookings open three weeks prior to the start of the school holidays.
