Christmas cheer
College students rejoiced in the Christmas Spirit at two Carols services held this week at the Pakenham and Berwick Campuses.
At Pakenham, students from Little Beacons Learning Centre and the Junior School formed a choir of ‘angels’ to lead the audience through timeless carols such as ‘Jingle Bells’ and ‘Silent Night’ and a crowd favourite – ‘Aussie Jingle Bells’.
The night’s highlights also included a puppet play on the Story of Christmas, some fine dance moves by College chaplain Mrs Sarah Hobba and the usual musical mastery by star staff singer Austin Moore.
Preparatory to Year 12 students at Berwick Campus enjoyed a traditional Carols and Lessons Service, including a Concert Band and Junior School Choir performance and reading by College Board Chairman Dr Lois Maghanoy.
