Alumni Association Gains Momentum

Headmaster's Blog Comments Off

AlumniBeacons_WEBThe Beaconhills College Old Collegians Association – to be known as ‘Alumni Beacons’ – has now been formally established under the guidance of the College Board. A small team of alumni, led by Howard Brown (Deputy Headmaster 1991-1999), has been preparing a set of aims and goals for the association as well as seeking feedback on proposed activities.

Office Bearers are yet to be appointed, however Nigel Boltwin (Class of 2000), has recently been appointed to represent Alumni Beacons on the College Board.

All Beaconhills students who complete Year 9 or more at the College will gain automatic membership to the Association, with past staff, parents and friends eligible to apply.

I encourage any eligible member of the Beaconhills community to join the working committee, which meets monthly at the College on a Monday or Tuesday afternoon, please contact Ms Debra Ely-Davis at (03) 5945 0203 or email debra.ely-davis@beaconhills.vic.edu.au  Any input from alumni is very welcome during these planning stages before it is officially launched in 2012.
