Little Beacons turns 3

Latest News Comments Off

LittleBeaconsBirthdayFamilies, friends and staff of Little Beacons all came together to celebrate Little Beacons 3rd birthday at Myuna Farm on the weekend. With almost 200 people in attendance, Little Beacons children enjoyed animals, face painting, jumping castles, tattoos and helium balloons over a picnic lunch with their families.

In both 2009 and 2010 our birthday celebrations were celebrated on site, but in 2011, with the size of our population now, this was no longer possible. Parents and friends of Little Beacons were eager to see the event continue and worked tirelessly to coordinate this wonderful event.

Little Beacons began operation in January  2008, however it was not until September that we moved into our new home on Toomuc Valley Road, which is the date used for the birthday celebrations. Prior to this, Little Beacons operated from three temporary locations. Little Beacons now has 33 staff and over 200 children, many of whom have been with the Centre since its foundation.

Happy 3rd birthday, Little Beacons!
