Exploring diversity

A rainbow flag.

Children at Little Beacons Learning Centre have explored the College theme of Embracing Diversity by looking at two different types of diversity.

As part of World Environment Day, children from the River Bend and Bamboo Rainforest groups visited the Year 9 Centre at the Pakenham Campus to explore the outdoor bush and garden area and talk about the need to care for the environment.

The River Bend group also made flags and discussed how different flags from around the world reflected the differences between people – like the colours of the rainbow.
