Preps visit Headmaster
Preps, dressed in red and white for Japan Day, visit Tony Sheumack.
A trip the Headmaster’s office was usually for all the wrong reasons in the ‘olden days’.
But not so for a group of excited Preparatory students who were thrilled at the chance to meet Mr Tony Sheumack, sit around the board-room table and read an e-book together on the big screen. They also enjoyed meeting the Head of Pakenham Campus, Mr Richard Prideaux.
The ‘Prep Visit’ has become an annual tradition at Beaconhills College for all Pakenham and Berwick Campus Preparatory students.
It’s all about helping the youngest students understand that the Headmaster is not a ‘scary man’ and enjoys reading a good book as much as they do.
