University-bound: 2010 VCE graduates

Our 2010 VCE graduates are set for an exciting future, with most students who applied for a tertiary course through VTAC receiving first round offers.

At Pakenham Campus, of the 126 students who applied for a tertiary place, 120 (95.2 per cent) received an offer. Of those, 82 offers were for university places, 33 for TAFE and five for independent Tertiary Colleges.

At Berwick Campus, of the 130 students who applied for a tertiary place, 125 (96.15 percent) received an offer. Of those, 90 were for university places, 28 for TAFE and seven for Independent tertiary colleges.

Headmaster Tony Sheumack said he was delighted to see so many students pursuing their goals in an interesting and diverse range of career paths.

Monash University was the university of choice for eight of the top 12 VCE scorers, followed by the University of Melbourne, Swinburne University and Deakin University:
