A Year 12 student has earned a place in the prestigious National Theatre Ballet School.

Annaliece S (Pakenham Campus) auditioned for a place in the School a month ago and was thrilled to hear that her audition was successful.

She will spend the next three years training in classical dance to achieve an Advanced Diploma in Classical Dance qualification.

Annaliece said she was looking forward to joining the school next February, where she will face a rigorous training schedule with 7.30am starts.

Her qualification will allow her to teach dancing and audition for work with professional dance companies.

She hopes to eventually pursue a career in contemporary dancing with companies like Complexions or Chunky Move – or maybe even a “dream job” with the Australian Dance Theatre in Adelaide.

During her years with Beaconhills College,  Annaliece has been a dance scholar, dance captain and received top examination results in VCE Dance and Glenn Wood Tap examinations.
