Maths and Science Winners

Headmaster's Blog Comments Off

The results of the Science Talent Search and the Australian Mathematics competitions show the depth of talent amongst our Middle School students. I am delighted to report we had great success in both competitions.

This year Valley Campus entered 46 students from Years 5 to 8 in the Science Talent Search, with nine students winning bursaries and several other winning Merit awards.

This is a great improvement on last year’s results.

And in the Mathematics competition, of the 55 students who entered, 49 earned Award certificates.

Three major bursary winners, Natalie G (Year 8), Tayah M and Taylah Q (both Year 6) will now go on to compete in the BHP Billiton Science Competition.
