Our Pakenham Campus’ Senior School Showcase held at the Cardinia Cultural Centre was a fantastic opportunity for our senior students to experience performing in a professional venue.
The professionalism of the students certainly matched the quality of the venue. The audience enjoyed a selection of dance, drama and music performances, including group dances, clarinet, saxophone and piano soloists, a jazz band, ensembles, vocal solo and drama monologues.
I thought all performances were outstanding.
The school’s Performing Arts program starts in the Junior School and, by the time the students reach Senior School level, they have gained confidence and experience in performing before an audience.
This event was a wonderful culmination of their progress through our Performing Arts programs and a chance for students to display how far they have come with their performance skills.
Well done to all the students and staff for their hard work in rehearsing and presenting their work.
