Creating Peace

The College’s theme for 2010 is ‘Creating Peace’ and all sections of the College, students and staff, are being challenged to explore what this means for the wider community, the school community and themselves, which will lead to a range of activities and projects involving the school community during the year. We will encourage students to look at major peace movements in various countries as well as issues of peace and harmony in our own communities. This will also include the study of an emerging issue for schools and communities – cyberbullying. Many young people have had some contact with cyberbullying and we will encourage students to consider productive strategies for tackling this growing problem.
