Disbursement of the Conveyance Allowance

The Conveyance Allowance is paid to the College by the Education Department at the end of each term.  Conveyance Allowance assists eligible families as outlined above) with the cost of travel expenses for their students.

As from Term 1 2010, the Conveyance Allowance will be forwarded by the College directly to the families who have a Private Car or Public Transport Conveyance Allowance Claim form lodged with the College. The Finance Department will forward this allowance to the bank account nominated for Direct Debit payments provided that this account is not a Credit Card Account, as we are unable to forward payment to Credit Card Accounts. If the Finance Department has no bank account details registered, a cheque will be forwarded to you.

Families who have lodged a Private Bus Claim form will continue to have the Conveyance Allowance applied to their sundry account to offset the Bus Fares charged to the account.
