Class of 1993 -  15 Year Reunion

Over 40 people gathered at the College on the evening of Saturday 25th October, from 6pm until 10pm, to enjoy a barbeque together in the precinct outside the new College Archives Centre prior to a tour of the College and a later gathering of alumni at the Central Hotel in Beaconsfield

It was the first time this model for a reunion has been used and it proved to be very successful. The barbeque gave those alumni with a family a chance to come along with partners, children and even pets to enjoy a casual get-together as well as an opportunity to view the changes to the College and to recall the College as they knew it 15 years previously. Many of these alumni continued on to the later gathering where a further 10 past students joined them.

We will certainly be encouraging the reunions proposed for 2009 to use this model as it also made it possible to prepare and present significant displays of interest to alumni, including old video footage, class photographs and a powerpoint display.

Ben Clissold is to be particularly congratulated and thanked for arranging this reunion, and the data he was able to gather on almost all past members of the Class of 1993 has been invaluable for the College.

We look forward to meeting with the Class of 1993 in 2013 at their 20-year reunion.
