Eron Sheean - Film Maker
Career Highlights

- Attended Beaconhills College from 1988 to 1993 (Years 7 – 12)
- Involved in College musicals and productions where he designed and made prosthetic masks for the actors, including ‘The Wizard of Oz’
- Did freelance work in model-making after leaving school on various television shows
- Has made a series of very successful short films since 1999, winning many awards at local and overseas film festivals including Sundance, Berlin, Telluride, Chicago, Hawaii, Montreal and Melbourne .
- Eron’s successful short films include:
- Fledgling (1999)
- Bing (2002)
- Fish (2005)
- William (2006)
- In 2003 he completed a three-month director’s attachment with the famous American director, Peter Bogdanovich ( ‘The Last Picture Show’, ‘Paper Moon’ etc. )
- He is currently working as an artist-in-residence at the Max Planck Institute of Molecular Cell Biology and Genetics in Dresden, Germany
