Graduating Class
|
2008 ResultsBeaconhills is thrilled with the 2008 VCE results and the achievements of our top 10 students who all received ENTER Scores in excess of 94. The graduating class of 2008 includes the first Year 12 group at the Village Campus, many of whom feature in the top achievers of 2008. The inclusion of the Village VCE cohort increases significantly the total number of graduates from the College, with all 240 students successfully completing their VCE certificate. Of the 2008 graduating class, 24 students achieved scores in the 90s, and both male and female students feature amongst our highest achievers. A total of 33 VCE subjects were studied by our graduating classes this year making the average Study Scores of 31.3 (Valley Campus) and 30.3 (Village Campus) very pleasing. Such a diverse range of study facilitates the development of the students, maximising their future opportunities and course or career options. In 2008, our top students have celebrated this variety of opportunity with remarkable success. Subjects with outstanding Study Scores were Design and Technology, Systems Engineering, Physics, IT Applications, Mathematical Methods, French, Biology, Physical Education, Health and Human Development, Philosophy, Literature and Art |
